The “Animate Girls Festival 2024” event will be held over two days on November 9 (Sat.) and 10 (Sun.). The “eve of the festival” event, which will be held for the first time on its 15th anniversary, will be held on November 8 (Fri.)!
The stage will be located at the fountain plaza (Arpa B1) in Sunshine City, Ikebukuro.
The stage will be held in an area where visitors can watch the event without a ticket.
The lottery for admission to the “priority viewing area” has ended, but there will be a “free viewing area” as well, so we have compiled a list of these areas along with information on the voice actors’ appearances.
What is Animate Girls Festival (AGF)?
Animate Girls Festival (AGF) is one of Japan’s largest events featuring anime, games, comics, voice actors, and goods for women.
It was first held in 2010 and is held every November at Ikebukuro Sunshine City.
As a gathering place for “everything for Otome”, AGF offers a wide variety of contents, limited-edition goods for sale, collaborative food stands, and events featuring popular voice actors.
The event has grown in scale each year, with approximately 109,238 visitors in 2023. Attendees can visit a variety of booths, interact with voice actors, and enjoy cosplay events.
In addition, related events are held throughout Ikebukuro, contributing to the revitalization of the local community.
AGF is more than just a merchandising event; it also plays an important role as a place for fans to interact with each other and discover new things.
Voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto has been appointed as the promotion captain!
He will also appear at the eve of the festival on Friday, November 8!
