While conventional animation is a video created by drawing a screen frame by frame and filming it continuously, “Light Animation®” is based on the use of manga and webtoon materials, cutting out frames and parts from a manuscript with speech bubbles, etc. removed, coloring them, and creating video using motion and 2D techniques. The animation is created using production techniques based on motion and 2D techniques, with the addition of voice and sound effects.
Compared to conventional animation, the production cost of light animation is said to be about 10% of that of general animation.
