Anime Japan, a general incorporated association, has announced that “AnimeJapan 2025,” one of the world’s largest anime events, will be held at Tokyo Big Sight.
The call for exhibitors will be open from September 13, 2024 (Friday).

AnimeJapan 2025, the 12th edition of the event since its inception in 2014, will be held on the largest scale ever, using Halls 1-8 of the East Exhibition Hall and the Conference Tower at Tokyo Big Sight, following a record attendance of more than 130,000 visitors in 2024.

Public Days for general visitors to enjoy exhibition booths and stages will be held on March 22 (Sat.) and 23 (Sun.), and Business Days for business meetings and business purposes will be held on March 24 (Mon.) and 25 (Tue.), with exhibitions and stages related to animation for families and kids. Family Anime Festa 2025 will be held on March 22 (Sat.) and 23 (Sun.).

One in ten visitors will be from outside Japan!

Of the visitors to AnimeJapan 2024, one in ten were from overseas!
Of the 130,000 visitors to the show, more than 10,000 came from overseas.
We are truly grateful.

AJ Stage with many famous voice actors on stage

This may be a rare opportunity to you can see voice actors right in front of you! At major events such as these, voice actors from the anime may appear on stage.
In fact, the following voice actors have appeared on stage at AnimeJapan 2024.
There were stages for anime that are currently popular in Japan and abroad, and it was an opportunity to hear the voice actors talk about their work. Archived videos were found on YouTube, so here is an example.

TV anime “Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian” special stage
Cast: Kohei Amasaki, Sumire Uesaka, Wakana Maruoka, Yukiyo Fujii, Saya Aizawa
Contents: The stage presented the charms of the anime “Rosidere” with the main cast members.

Special Stage of “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” in AJ24
Cast: Atsumi Tanezaki, Kana Ichinose, Chiaki Kobayashi, Nobuhiko Okamoto
Contents: Held right after the climax of the TV anime “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End”! It was a special stage brought to you by the three Frieren party members and the cast members who play the hero Himmel.

Special Stage of “Oshi no Ko”
Cast: Takeo Otsuka, Megumi Han, Manaka Iwami
Contents: The stage presented the latest information on the second season of the TV anime “Oshi no Ko”, which will be broadcast in 2024, together with the splendid cast members.

Please refer to the timetable of 2024 to get an idea of how many different anime productions will be featured on stage and how many voice actors will be present at this event! It is not often that so many voice actors gather at an event like this. This is a rare opportunity!

Anime friends from all over the world gathered at AnimeJapan 2024!

The public days of AnimeJapan 2024 were attended by approximately 130,000 people, making it a two-day event that showed the momentum of anime. The event also closed with one out of every 10 visitors coming from overseas, befitting of one of the world’s largest anime events.
The venue was the largest ever with 110 exhibitor booths, the AJ Stage with 44 programs, the Production Works Gallery which returned for the first time in 5 years, the Family Anime Festa, the annual Cosplayers World, and the Creation Stage with new projects, The AnimeJapan 2024_Exhibit Booth

AnimeJapan 2025 Public Day, Business Day and Family Anime Festa 2025 are now accepting exhibitor applications! Call for exhibitors is open until 11/15(Fri.)!

AnimeJapan 2025 is looking for exhibitors from many companies and organizations in the animation industry. We are now accepting applications for Public Day, Business Day and Family Anime Festa 2025 at the same time.

Exhibitor Eligibility: Companies and organizations that contribute to the development of animation culture in general and Japanese industry in particular.

Thanks to the cooperation of many exhibitors, more than 130,000 people attended the 11th AnimeJapan and enjoyed the event to the fullest, both domestically and internationally.
We would like to start this year’s AnimeJapan, the 12th edition of the event, by working together with exhibitors to present an even more advanced version of AnimeJapan as “one of the world’s largest anime festivals”.
