As next year marks the 10th anniversary of his debut as a voice talents, he is releasing a photo book to commemorate the occasion. The title of the book is “Shugo Nakamura Voice Talents Debut 10th Anniversary Commemorative Photo Book po10tial” and the cover design of the standard edition and Amazon limited cover edition have also been released.
The setting of the book is Nakamura’s hometown of Okinawa, which he loves very much. The film was shot under the supervision of up-and-coming photographer MARCO in a variety of situations to trace the roots of how “voice talents Shugo Nakamura” was born.
In a location rich in nature with blue sea and deep forests, we captured his fresh expression. He also plays the sanshin (Okinawan three-stringed instrument) in a traditional old house and eats a hamburger in an exotic cafe, all of which symbolize Okinawa. Meanwhile, at a boxing gym, he played the role of a boxer himself, sparring in earnest in a manner reminiscent of pre-fight sparring. He also enjoyed playing basketball and other sporty activities.

Meaning of the Okinawan word “Ichariba
The word “Ichariba” was unfamiliar to me, so I looked it up. It seems to be taken from the Okinawan dialect “Ichariba-cho-de-” (Once you meet, you are all brothers), which is a word from Shugo Nakamura’s home prefecture of Okinawa! The original word means something like “all human beings are brothers” and is a very Okinawan, friendly and warm word!
Okinawa, the setting for the photo book, is far from mainland Japan and rich in nature. It is a wonderful place with beautiful skies and seas. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Japan and a must visit place when you come to Japan. However, it is the southernmost point of Japan and the sun is very strong in summer, so we recommend that you take UV protection.
